Mrs. Florence Hardee Johnson, of this place, died at the home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Hardee in Browns Valley on Monday. Death resulted from a fall on a stairway about a week previous. Fun. Rev. CL Airhart conducted services at Browns Valley Baptist Church on Wed. morning. Interment at Indian Creek. - kbz

Browns Valley, Sept 26 - Mrs. Florence Johnson, wife of Bennie Johnson of Waveland, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hardee of Browns Valley, died at the home of her parents this morning at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Johnson's death resulted from childbirth. She was 19 years and eleven months of age. The deceased is survived by her husband, her parents and three sisters, Mrs. Howard Swisher, Mrs. Vernon Starnes and Lillian Hardee. One brother, Roy Hardee, also survives. two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Rice and Nina Hardee preceded her in death - kbz
